FEEDBACKS

Project 1: Exercise 1

Week 3

Mr Martin said that my audio is nicely put together but it would be better if I add some street ambience as it sounded too much like a park ambience. Besides, he also reminded me to add the sound of footsteps.

Week 14

GOOD
1. Cat dialogue echoey, remove reverb from dialogue
2. Ambience nice for 2nd part of the video, doesn't suit 1st part, need less crowded noise and a bit of traffic sound
3. Ambience audio need audio transition at beginning & end

Project 1: Exercise 2

Week 14

GOOD

REFLECTIONS

These exercises really made me realised even more about the importance of sound production in a video or movie production. I think it is important to be observant in order to know what sound is supposed to be present to bring out the emotions and the feels of the scenes. However, I noticed that I'm not very sensitive when it comes to sound because sometimes I really can't tell much difference after editing the audios during all the audio exercises and I feel like it is quite a challenge for me.
