PROCESS
At the beginning of this task, I've continued working on the logo. I explored different forms and pairing with different typefaces to see which looks better.
Upon deciding which I would want to go for, I use elements in the logo design to create guides for the space rational.
I have also set the logo clear space by using the logomark as an indicator to set the guides.
I then moved on to come up with some elements by using the logomark, I thought it might be a good idea to be used as patterns so that the brand identity will be more distinct and memorable.
I then started to create patterns using the elements.
Then, I also explored the illustration style that I've proposed in Task 2 and came up with a few illustrations.
I started off by creating 9 posts to see the grid layout for instagram.
After receiving feedback from ms, she pointed out two posts that needs amendments.
For this post, she mentioned that it is quite hard to read and there is no hierarchy of information. For the carousel, she also mentioned that it would be better if I spread the information out. I decided to add on patterns to it so that it will be more interesting while scrolling.
For this post, ms mentioned that she is not sure whether the elements are suitably used and looks quite different from the rest, I then decided to make some changes to it by adding some illustrations and patterns.
For the NFT art
I started off by creating the line art drawing on my ipad, I decided to add the eye element as the main thing of the face so that it have a stronger representation of the campaign brand. I didn't use the hanger which is the brand's logomark because I find it a little hard to fit it in the face.
Then I started to create backgrounds that can be used for the background of the NFT artworks.
After completing both the element and the pattern backgrounds, I then put them together.
For the feedback I received, Ms mentioned she thinks using the logomark will have a stronger meaning and identity to the artworks. She also suggested to enlarge the human figure more; I took the advice and made some changes to it.
For the website article section, I realised that photography images are not able to gel well with the overall style of the website, so I had to create my own illustrations. I started off with rough sketches on my sketchbook.
Since my campaign requires recycling bin and clothing swap bin, I came up with 2 posters to be pasted on the bins.
At first I created a poster with more details in it, how ever I realised that they position of the poster is too low to be read easily so I decided simplifying it just to send the message through.
FEEDBACK
Week 9: I told ms that I've completed the copywriting and showed her a draft of my ig posts, she said that the brand colour looks really nice and I can proceed.
Week 11:
Instagram post: She pointed out two of my post that she thinks can be improved on.
She mentioned that the post is hard to read and there's no hierarchy of information. She also mentioned that she is not sure whether the elements are suitably used and looks quite different from the rest for the other post that is not working. For the carousel, she also mentioned that it would be better if I spread the information out for one of the posts.
Nft art: Ms mentioned that the use of the logomark is better than just using the eye element. Ms mentioned that using the logomark will have a stronger meaning and identity to the artworks. She also suggested to enlarge the human figure more.

REFLECTION
Experience:
Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the outcome of my campaign. I think my biggest problem in this task is that I'm too attentive to details to that doesn't really matter that much; such as the copywriting part and thinking of an entire campaign planning. I sometimes forget that my role is more to creating the design which is something I realised I struggle with for some modules as well.
Observation:
I observe that choosing colour palletes and typography are really crucial for brands. It really makes a huge different before other elements are added in; the feels and mood heavily depends on it.
Findings:
Besides, I realised that consistency (with variations) is important to maintain the brand identity yet it's important to break the monotony so that it will not be boring and keep users visually engaged throughout the entire brand experience.
